Here is the link to sign the petition to defund Obamacare.
This is being spearheaded by Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, and it appears that there is also involvement by the Senate Conservatives Fund, which was started by former Senator Jim DeMint.
As of this posting, they have about 1.74 million signatures, and growing by the minute. I here pundits discussing Ted Cruz in particular. Some speak of him with contempt, and others with great admiration. Some in the Republican establishment simply don’t seem to understand what he is doing and why, but it’s not that complicated. He is trying to connect the people to Congress. The ruling class is disconnected from the people. They aren’t listening. They don’t want to listen. If Senators Cruz and Lee and the others involved here can stir the pot enough to get the people, who don’t want Obamacare, to communicate that to their elected representatives, he can get those representatives to listen and to act in the interests of their constituents. They aren’t doing that, but there is hope that he can get them to do that.
What can you do? Sign the petition. Then call your Representative and Senators. If enough people do this, they will listen.
