So we have the leftist establishment media and many elected Democrats trying to pressure Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race.
Biden had an interview with George Stephanopoulos that was taped and broadcast last Friday. It seemed that George wanted him to withdraw, but Biden was adamant. He said that only God Almighty could persuade him to withdraw, and God wasn’t going to do that, so, basically, everyone should just accept that he’s in the race to stay.
It’s a serious pickle for Democrats. They aren’t good at facing up to reality, and the reality about Joe Biden is that he has taken bribes from our enemy, the Communist Chinese, as well as given lots of money to another enemy—Iran. He has undermined Israel in their fight against terrorists. So these pleas to withdraw for the good of the country fall on deaf ears—he never cared for the good of the country. But it’s unlikely that Democrats will be able to admit that. Even pleas to do it for the good of the party aren’t scoring. He doesn’t appear to even care for that, but is all for number one. Maybe, if he can be convinced it is hopeless, he will withdraw. Or he could be credibly threatened with removal under the 25th amendment. But even those plans face difficulties because he is suffering from dementia and may have trouble understanding the reality of his situation.
