It simply allowed a person to cite his or her religious beliefs as a defense in a lawsuit. See the article in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianpost.com\/news\/issue-analysis-arizona-bill-does-not-give-businesses-license-to-discriminate-against-gays-115093\/\" target=\"_blank\">Christian Post<\/a> explaining this. Essentially, they were saying, &#8220;We can&#8217;t allow such unfettered freedom of religion.
