I was reading from www.nj.com their article about NPR chief Vivian Schiller getting canned. The story warms my heart, because the Left survives so much on pretense, and I love it when pretenders get exposed for what they really are. But I also especially enjoyed reading the comments from readers, seeing what contortions Leftists try to go through to deal with this type of disaster. A poster identifying himself as GFallon wrote: “O’Keefe’s agenda is to utilize sensational, pseudo investigative reporting techniques to expose and/or create left-wing hypocrisy. Apparently, he has no problem with the ultraconservative organizations who are just as responsible for the polarization of America and are his financial supporters. His credibility and motivation are questionable at best.”
Of course, what do you say when we can hear with our own ears Ron Schiller displaying his bigotry? Well, you have to attack the messenger – there’s not much more to say. Yes, we know, the camera was clearly a Right Wing Nut Job camera and you can’t trust anything it records. So sweet to see them flail like this and try to deal with being exposed. They say O’Keefe has no credibility, but with people who survive by pretense, you don’t pay attention to what they say, you watch what they do. And they fired both Ron Schiller and NPR Chief Vivian Schiller.
And then, of course, the predictable response from Ron Schiller: “That’s not me – that’s not who I am!” Ri-i-i-i-ght.
And from NPR: “This isn’t in keeping with our standards.” Like we’re supposed to believe they never before, in any kind of a conversation behind closed doors at NPR, ever showed this kind of bigotry. Only once in his life did he ever say anything like this, and it just so happened to be when James O’Keefe had a hidden camera planted. Ri-i-i-i-ght.
