Everybody knows that Ted Cruz is a citizen

So Donald Trump is now questioning whether Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen.

I have a question for him and others who think this is a matter worthy of discussion or investigation.

If he was not born a citizen, when and how did he become one? Because it seems pretty settled that he is now a citizen. He has voted, applied for Social Security, and been elected to several offices. Since he never went through a naturalization process, how did he become a citizen? Magic?

The answer, of course, is that he was born a citizen, naturally born, to use the constitutional wording. And everyone knows that.

Throughout the history of this country people have been born abroad to American citizen parents and no one has questioned their citizenship. I think that’s pretty settled law.

Do you agree? Disagree? I welcome your comments.

One Response to Everybody knows that Ted Cruz is a citizen

  1. I love your wording and reasoning. I’ve read a number of articles on the topic. Your reasoning is more satisfying than the legalistic arguments for or against the various targets in the past.
