I just finished reading an ABC News post, featuring a video of Diane Sawyer trying to portray Romney as unpresidential for disagreeing with Obama’s foreign policy.
It is utterly sick and utterly laughable at the same time.
Here we have serious breaches of national security, a meltdown of US foreign policy, the first foreign-launched terrorist attack against the United States since 9/11, the crumbling the hopes that foolish people invested in “The Arab Spring,” and the establishment media, rather than having any concern at all for these issues, is obsessed with politics, trying to turn the matter into a reason not to trust Mitt Romney.
And all the while, they are accusing Romney of politicizing the issue. It is sick, absolutely sick.
And the man child president, rather than taking the issue seriously himself, runs off to a fundraiser in Nevada. But yes, it’s Romney who is trivializing national security by putting politics ahead of country. That’s what they want us to believe. No, Ms. Sawyer, Romney is the grown-up here.
First of all, who invented the term “mainstream media?” There is nothing mainstream about them. They are left-wing, with anti-American tendencies. They are childish and irresponsible. How could any self-respecting patriot dignify them by referring to them as “mainstream?” I can’t understand that. They are establishment media, yes, because they rally to the defense of the ruling class. Or call them “drive-by” media, as Rush does.
I literally laughed out loud when I heard Hillary Clinton’s follow-up statement today. I couldn’t help myself. Here’s the quote that got me:
“I know it is hard for some people to understand why the United States cannot or does not just prevent these kinds of reprehensible videos from ever seeing the light of day.”
It’s hilariously funny, but also sick at the same time. How absolutely naïve! How dangerously naïve! These Islamist extremist thugs know what we let them get away with, and they certainly understand what a free society is. That is one of the reasons they hate us. This was a pretext, Madame Secretary. It was the excuse they used to whip up the crowds. And the thugs themselves have to be laughing themselves silly to hear you taking them seriously.
God save us, please.
