Sarah Palin’s slap in the face to Wil Cardon

I just got an e-mail announcing that Sarah Palin has endorsed Jeff Flake for Congress.

When Wil Cardon appeared at the Mountain View Tea Party, he tried to answer a question about the Club for Growth, who has also endorsed Flake. His approach was to bad-mouth the Club for Growth. In doing that he joined forces with Olympia Snowe, John McCain, the Daily Kos, the Huffington Post, and People for the American Way. So how do you feel, Wil, seeing eye to eye with left-wing America?

And I wonder now how he will deal with the Sarah Palin endorsement of his opponent.

This is one of the problems I have with Wil Cardon. He has marginalized himself so that he cannot be effective. At the Mountain View Tea Party he said that he felt that 99 out of 100 politicians were untrue to the Constitution. And yet his campaign brochure urged me to vote for him to change Washington. So I’m to believe that he and four or five other Representatives and one Senator are going to change Washington. But the Club for Growth, with its string of victories over establishment Republicans, is the enemy. No, Wil, I don’t think so. Getting things done that matter requires majorities.

Not that I am a great fan of Jeff Flake. Follow the postings I have made with Jeff Flake as a tag, and you’ll see that I am very disappointed with his integrity and his desire to be part of the ruling class. I believe that the Club for Growth will be able to keep him in line, because he wants to keep that 100% rating with them, but I’m not entirely sure of that. But I don’t believe that Wil Cardon would give us any improvement in integrity, I question his judgment, and I don’t think he could win in November.
