The Arizona Tea Party Network is running an online poll asking who did the best in last night’s Republican debate.
Here are the rankings so far, as of 11:00 this morning:
Newt Gingrich – 34%
Michele Bachmann – 21%
Ron Paul – 9 1/2%
Herman Cain – 9%
Wish Rick Perry was there – 9%
Mitt Romney – 8%
Wish Sara Palin was there – 7%
Rick Santorum – 2%
Tim Pawlenty – 1%
Jon Huntsman – 0%
I think it was Michele Bachmann. She showed great poise, dignity, and conviction. Yes, Newt had a few zingers. But Chris Wallace’s question about what can we expect about how his administration will function, after what we’ve seen of the dysfunction of his campaign and his campaign staff – he had no strong, credible answer to that. And that’s big. Really big.
